The popular HATIX vacation ticket will be expanded starting January 1, 2026. Guests in the western Harz region will then also be able to use the HATIX to ride regional trains. Until now, the ticket was valid only for bus travel.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>All parties involved have agreed to this. This ticket is valid on the following sections of the route:   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>\u2022 DB Regio Lines RB 80\/81: Walkenried \u2013 Bad Sachsa \u2013 Bad Lauterberg \/ Barbis \u2013 <br\/>Herzberg \u2013 Hattorf \u2013 Wulften <br\/>\u2022 DB Regio Line RB 46: Herzberg \u2013 Osterode \u2013 Gittelde\/Bad Grund \u2013 M\u00fcnchehof \u2013 <br\/>Seesen <br\/>\u2022 DB Regio Line RB 82: Seesen \u2013 Langelsheim \u2013 Goslar \u2013 Oker \u2013 Bad Harzburg <br\/>\u2022 Erixx Line RB 43: Goslar \u2013 Oker <br\/>\u2022 Erixx Line RE 10: Goslar \u2013 Oker \u2013 Bad Harzburg  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>The participants include the two rail operators DB Regio and Erixx GmbH, the Harz Regional Association ( <br\/>), the districts of Goslar and G\u00f6ttingen, as well as the public transit authorities: the Braunschweig Metropolitan Area Regional Association ( <br\/>) and the South Lower Saxony Public Transit Association (Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund S\u00fcd-Niedersachsen). <br\/>Visitors staying at least one night in the Harz Mountains can now travel throughout the Lower Saxony portion of the Harz ( <br\/>) without a car. It will also be possible to tour the Western Harz using various trains via <br\/>. This offer also applies to guests in the Eastern Harz region. If you\u2019re traveling through the Western Harz region via <br\/>, you can also use the trains here with your HATIX pass.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>The free use of public transportation with HATIX has been very well received by visitors throughout the Harz region <br\/>. In the G\u00f6ttingen district, visitors have already been able to use HATIX trains for a small additional fee via <br\/>; now this service is fully integrated into the ticket here as well. <br\/>Initially, the project is set to run for one year, from January 1 through December 31, <br\/>2026. Afterward, an evaluation will determine the extent of its use and whether it will be continued. <br\/>Another collaboration is also set to begin in the new year: The city of Seesen is joining the HATIX network ( <br\/>), meaning this ticket will also be valid here for all visitors. <br\/>The additional rail service is funded by the districts of Goslar and G\u00f6ttingen.    <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vacationers in the Harz region have something to look forward to.
