The municipality of Walkenried is home to two outdoor swimming pools, surrounded by the greenery of the southern Harz Mountains. At the Priorteich in Walkenried, you’ll find an idyllic natural swimming area that’s open daily with free admission, weather permitting. In the Zorge district, families can enjoy a forest swimming pool with a separate children’s pool.
When summer takes a break, swimming fun continues at the indoor pool at the KNAUS Camping Park.
